The Cities for Life Forum is a network that brings together 57 institutions (local governments, universities, social and grassroots organizations, and business associations) from 20 cities in Peru, to promote eco-efficient, socially advantageous and healthy neighborhoods and housing, improving the environmental quality and management capacity of public and private actors through Local Agenda 21 processes, promoting the inclusion of key environmental issues in the national public agenda (Climate Change, Land Management).

It has a national program that focuses on 3 work sub-programs:

  • Development of Management Capacities and Promotion of Agendas 21 of Cities
  • Urban Development and Sustainable Construction
  • Urban Environmental Quality

It has a decentralized national organization; It has a National Board of Directors, 4 Regional Coordinations (Lima, North, South and Central-Selva) and Thematic Groups.
